Data and Reproducibility Last Update : 2021-07-13 09:43:43

Data, as a core for your research, acts like infrastructure for our scientific knowledge. As a researcher, you are encouraged – and sometimes mandated – to store your research data and make it accessible and discoverable, so others can reuse it.

In all Kowsar Journals, authors are suggested/required to register their raw data in one of the major data projects like Dataverse or Mendeley.

We strongly recommend (or in some journals enforce) to register all raw data freely available to any scientist wishing to use them for non-commercial purposes, without breaching participant confidentiality.

Instead of depositing your data in databases, you are allowed to give us permanent permission to access your data using the below statement. To do, simply copy-paste the below statement in the box of "Data and Reproducibility" during your submission:

"The data presented in this study are openly available in one of the repositories or will be available on request from the corresponding author by this journal representative at any time during submission or after publication. Otherwise, all consequences of possible withdrawal or future retraction will be with the corresponding author."

Where can I deposit/store my research data?

You can store/upload your data in one of these databases. Note that the corresponding author is responsible for data protection during this storage in the below databases.

  • After storing your data in Dataverse, please write/include the dataset DOI in the "Data and Reproducibility" during submission. You must write this statement during submission:
"Our data is deposited in this link 10.7910/DVN/KLFO8O"

  • Authors should specify NCT accession numbers, e.g. NCT: NCT00222573. sample article. Refer here to read more about RCT.
