Raw data of a submission must be registered in one of the major and well-known data projects like Dataverse or Mendeley.
We strongly recommend (or in some journals enforce) to register all raw data freely available to any scientist wishing to use them for non-commercial purposes, without breaching participant confidentiality.
Authors should include the dataset DOI in the article, e.g. example of data deposited:10.7910/DVN/KLFO8O | example of an article with data: http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2352340914000055
Mendeley Data banners will be shown on ScienceDirect when the repository has data for the article. e.g.: sample of article
Authors should specify NCT accession numbers, e.g. NCT: NCT00222573. e.eg: sample article. Refer here to read more about RCT.
